Pam Murph Photography

Welcome to Pam Murph Photography

There is an unbelievable palette of life and colors, of people and places that are just waiting to have their story told. I love to learn as well as savor the journey of life. Photography has a wonderful combination of both. It happens every time I pick up my camera. To see the world through another lens…and envision the possibilities…that’s where you will find me. Join in and immerse yourself in the life and stories I have found along the way.

Interested in Purchasing a Photograph:

The images in my galleries are ready to be printed by Bay Photo labs in the material of your choice. To place an order, simply press the Buy button under the images you would like to purchase. You will have a few choices to make, such as the material and size for your print.   If you need a place to start, here are a few options. For paper prints, metallic produces an exceptional print and shows off the vibrant colors of the ocean well. There is also the option of having your print on actual metal. You can find this option under Wall Art. Canvas is another great medium and looks wonderful hanging on a wall. This printing option can be found under Wall Art.  Thin wraps and flat mounted canvas are my top choices here.

These are just some of my personal preferences and certainly other materials will also generate beautiful results. Have fun looking through your options. When choosing the size of your images, notice the box around the image changes to show what your print will look like.  Your final print will not have the watermark across it. If you have a special request or a question, please feel free to contact me. Enjoy browsing through my galleries.

My Story:

My journey into photography began with becoming a certified scuba diver in 1997. On my first dive trip a camera was put in my hands and it was a great fit. I became addicted to the underwater world and sharing its beauty, colors and marine life. In 2014, I picked up street photography as a way to challenge myself to see other stories, to capture moments and people.  These two worlds are very different, but they both have stories and encounters that I feel drawn to and want to share.

I was no stranger to photography before these events. As a kid, I fell in love with telling stories through photography from my dad, and I continue that love by sharing the world around me, alongside a roadway, walking down a street or under the water. My mom and dad encouraged me to see beyond the ordinary and envision what the world has to offer. Photography brings together so many important elements in my life. “You don’t make a photograph just with a camera."

You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.” – Ansel Adams
